Short Form Content: United Drag Alliance, "Wicked" Sing Along Reel
For Week 5 of my internship, I was tasked to create an engaging Reel ro promote UDA's 21+ Wicked Sing Along event, partnering with BREWVIES in SLC, UT.
In UDA's content calendar planning session, we discussed catering to News topics, Trending audio and media, relatability pursuits, and/or information; I decided to choose focus on information, as well with Trending audio/media. I used the clip from Meg and Mog (2003) with royalty free music with a similar chord progression as Wicked's, "For Good," a popular song used to promote the second half of the movie Wicked: For Good.
The reel created used a viral clip from Meg and Mog (2003), used, on Tiktok and Instagram around the lead up for Halloween 2025. The age group that watched or read Meg and Mog media is 21+ years old (our targeted audience).
