Copy Writing: Inclusion Center Newsletter
USU's Inclusion Center's monthly newsletter was sent out to students, faculty, and staff. I was responsible for designing the newsletter, engaging, informative content and strategically distributing it through Mailchimp to reach students, faculty, and staff.
The newsletter's main objective was to promote various Inclusion Center initiatives. I organized, compiled, provided links and registrations for events like Break the Silence, which amplifies LGBT+ student voices, the 7th Annual Diversity Conference, the Pasifika Student Union's Lu'au, and the F-Word Workshop, which explores topics like machismo and feminism. This process involved working with program coordinators, event management, and the marketing department.

Beyond compiling content, I handled the execution of the newsletter. This included designing visually appealing layouts, targeted specific messages for audiences, and analyzing campaign performance to maximize engagement. A goal was to provide contact information for each club sponsored by the Inclusion Center. At the end of the newsletter, I included logos of each club while including the club's email information when one clicked on the logo.
The newsletter encouraged Inclusion Center event participation, and strengthened the sense of community from including events, resources, and opportunities. This project highlights my ability to craft impactful written communication, leverage email marketing tools effectively, and contribute to the development of inclusive, engaging content.
